Dawie qualified as an accountant in 1995 before joining Old Mutual in 1996, where he combined his financial expertise with a passion for helping people. During his eight-year career at Old Mutual, he achieved Top Club status for two consecutive years and ranked among the top five consultants in the broker division for six consecutive years. His extensive experience with both local and offshore investment portfolios provides him with a strong understanding of how property complements a diversified investment strategy.

In 2004, Dawie transitioned into real estate, earning Rookie of the Year and Agent of the Year awards in his first two years. He quickly established himself as one of the top-performing agents in the Welgemoed area, qualifying for both the Bali and Mauritius incentive conventions.

In 2010, he became co-owner of a successful real estate company, specialising in Welgemoed, Welgedacht and Door De Kraal. In 2014, he sold his shares to establish Heydenrych Properties, where he continues to focus on delivering exceptional service as an area specialist.

Dawie holds both NQF Level 4 and Level 5 qualifications and is a Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MPRE). He is also a member of the Institute of Estate Agents of South Africa (IEASA).
